Privacy policy

This policy explains what CUTKEEP processes when you create an account, upload a video, generate clips, make a payment, or contact us—and the choices available to you.

Who controls your data

The operator of CUTKEEP is heyybot.com, located at Available on written request. This entity determines why and how personal data is processed for the service.

Identity must be complete

Do not launch this policy while the legal entity, address, grievance contact, or effective date is shown as not configured.

Data we process

Account data: Name, email address, login credentials in protected form, verification status, sessions, plan, and account preferences.
Customer content: Uploaded video and audio, visible people and voices, transcripts, timestamps, extracted frames, generated captions, clips, edit decisions, and source-relative performance scores.
Usage data: Feature interactions, processing jobs, upload and download counts, device and browser information, IP address, diagnostic events, and security logs.
Payment data: Plan, payment status, Razorpay identifiers, invoices, refunds, and limited billing metadata. CUTKEEP does not collect or store raw card, bank, or UPI credentials.
Communications: Support requests, complaints, copyright notices, feedback, and records needed to resolve them.

Why we use it

To create and secure your account and verify your identity.
To upload, inspect, transcribe, analyze, rank, cut, caption, render, store, and deliver the clips you request.
To administer three free source-video processing credits and paid plan entitlements, including restoring a credit after a qualifying processing failure.
To process payments, issue invoices, prevent fraud, provide support, and resolve disputes.
To maintain reliability, measure product performance, protect users, enforce our terms, and comply with applicable law.

Where consent is the applicable basis, you may withdraw it as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed and may prevent us from continuing the affected service.

Video and AI processing

CUTKEEP analyzes the speech, visuals, and audio signals in a source video to propose self-contained moments and render short clips. Service providers may temporarily receive the minimum content needed for transcription, judgment, hosting, or delivery.

No generalized-model training by default

Customer content is not used to train CUTKEEP or third-party generalized AI models unless the account holder gives separate, voluntary, informed consent. Product improvement may use aggregated operational metrics and explicit clip feedback that does not require retaining the underlying media.

Scores are editorial estimates comparing moments within a source video. They do not predict or guarantee views, engagement, revenue, or legal suitability for publication.

Processors and disclosures

CUTKEEP may use infrastructure, storage, email, payment, transcription, AI judgment, observability, and customer-support providers. The launch stack includes Railway for hosting, Razorpay for payments, Groq for transcription, and TypeSafe/Jev for clip judgments. The final deployed vendor list and contracts must match this policy.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, during a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards, or at your direction. We do not sell customer content.

Some providers may process information outside India. Where applicable, we use contractual and technical safeguards and follow restrictions imposed by Indian law.

Retention and deletion

Original uploads: Retained in private storage while the account remains active so projects can be reopened. Deleted from active storage when the account is deleted, unless preservation is legally required.
Generated clips: Retained with the related project while the account remains active and deleted from active storage when the account is deleted.
Account and billing: Kept while the account is active and afterwards only as needed for tax, fraud prevention, chargebacks, legal claims, statutory retention, or a legal hold.
Security logs: Retained for the period required for security and applicable Indian incident-response obligations, including 180-day log retention where the CERT-In directions apply.
Backups: Residual copies may remain in access-restricted infrastructure backups until those backups are overwritten under the hosting provider's normal cycle, or longer only where law requires.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, updating, erasure, consent withdrawal, or grievance review. You may cancel a subscription without deleting the account, or delete the entire account.

See the account deletion guide or contact the grievance channel listed on the contact page. We may verify your identity before acting and may retain narrowly required records where law permits or requires it.

Security, children, and changes

We use access controls, encrypted transport, private media storage, authenticated media delivery, secret separation, upload validation, logging, and incident-response procedures appropriate to the service. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Read our security statement for more detail.

CUTKEEP is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly provide accounts to children contrary to applicable consent requirements.

Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, communicated through the service or email before they take effect.
