Acceptable use
CUTKEEP may only be used with media you are permitted to process and in ways that do not harm people, violate rights, or compromise the service.
- Applies to
- CUTKEEP web application and services
- Effective date
- 15 October 2026
Rights to uploaded media
Upload only content you own or are authorised to process. You must have the permissions needed for video, audio, music, performances, confidential information, trademarks, likenesses, and voices. Publicly accessible media is not automatically free to download, edit, advertise, or republish.
Do not use CUTKEEP to infringe copyright, evade access controls, pirate content, remove rights-management information, or imply endorsement by a person who has not given it.
Safety and privacy
You must not upload, create, distribute, or facilitate:
- Child sexual abuse material or sexual exploitation of minors.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery or sexualised deepfakes.
- Credible threats, targeted harassment, stalking, doxxing, or content intended to incite violence.
- Unlawful surveillance, covert processing of private communications, or disclosure of highly sensitive personal data without authority.
- Fraud, deceptive impersonation, manipulated evidence, scams, or misleading political or commercial content presented as authentic.
- Any content or activity prohibited by applicable law.
Service abuse
- Do not probe, scan, bypass, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to CUTKEEP, another account, storage object, queue, or network.
- Do not introduce malware, exploit malformed media, automate abusive uploads, evade rate or plan limits, or create accounts to obtain extra free credits.
- Do not scrape the service, resell access without approval, reverse engineer protected components, or use outputs to benchmark or build a competing system contrary to the Terms.
- Do not use CUTKEEP in a high-risk context where a clip, transcript, or score is treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice.
Review and disclosure
You must review cuts, captions, speaker attributions, and context before publication. Where an edited or AI-assisted clip could materially mislead viewers, provide appropriate context or disclosure. Never present a source-relative clip score as a guaranteed probability of virality.
Enforcement and appeals
We may block a job, remove content, limit features, preserve evidence, suspend an account, or report activity when reasonably necessary to enforce this policy, respond to legal process, or address an urgent risk. We consider context, severity, recurrence, intent, and available remedies.
Except where notice would increase risk or violate law, we will explain material enforcement and provide a way to appeal through the contact and grievance channel. Repeat or severe violations may result in permanent termination.
Report prohibited content
Report suspected infringement, privacy harm, or illegal content through the Contact page. Include the relevant job or output identifier, the right affected, supporting information, and a reliable way to reach you. Do not send sensitive evidence unless support provides a secure method.
